You are not alone in the challenges in your life. Look around you. Every person you know is struggling through his or her life in one-way or another. Your struggle may be with growing up with an abusive father. Your neighbor's struggle may be dealing with raging anger. Another's may be addictive tendencies that she fights everyday of her life without any other outward sign of struggle. Another may struggle with a low self-esteem and feels that everyone else is better than they are and that their struggle is the worst.

Looking at the outward indicators it may seem that everyone else is living the "perfect life," without pains or struggles. It may seem that you are the only one that is not having a great life. In reality, most other people are feeling just like you.
